Jurnal Sains Natural is an accredited journal in the nation as listed the Ministry of Research and Technology /National Agency for Research and Innovation No. 200/M/KPT/2020 about Accreditation Results of Scientific Journal.

Jurnal Sains Natural was founded in 2001. The name of the journal has changed once:

Jurnal Sains Natural, with Printed ISSN (p-ISSN): 2086-3446, was first published in January 2011 by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Nusa Bangsa.

Since 2011, Jurnal Sains Natural is providing a platform for the researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews on Biology and Chemistry. Starting from January 2018, Jurnal Sains Natural is assigned Electronic ISSN: 2621-508X.

Jurnal Sains Natural has been currently indexed by both national and international indexer institutions such as Google Scholar (International), The Garba Rujukan Digital (Garuda - National), Science and Technology Index (SINTA - National), Indonesian Publication Index (IPI - National), Indonesia One Search (National), and other citation databases of peer-reviewed scientific literature.
